ABOUT BEC

I'm Bec Ellul. A multi-award-winning corporate strategist, executive coach, and recovering perfectionist.

Alongside my coaching practice, I lead commercial strategy for BBC Studios’ Advertising arm and have worked at the heart of some of the world’s most influential media organisations, including as part of the Disney+ launch team, and in global strategy roles at Condé Nast and The Guardian. I also bring experience from start-ups and the public sector, and many years navigating complex, high-pressure environments and managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.

Now, I partner with ambitious professionals, particularly women, who want to lead with clarity, confidence, and integrity. I bring a calm, human approach to executive coaching, blending sharp insight with practical tools to help you move forward on your own terms.

I'm deeply committed to improving the lives of girls and women. I’ve served as a Girlguiding ambassador, represented UN Women UK, angel invest in female-founded startups, and co-host The Career Coven podcast. In 2025, I was named Great British Media Businesswoman of the Year.

Outside of work, you’ll find me in nature, typically somewhere remote. A 2023 leadership voyage to Antarctica with 110 women and non-binary leaders sharpened my focus on climate impact, and the power of collective action.

I undertook my exec coaching certification during my first maternity leave, inspired by the transformative coaching I’d received at key moments in my career. Now, I’m honoured to support others as they step into their next chapter.
